About the Role:

We are seeking a Creative Frontend Developer to join our Creative Studio team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and managing dynamic creative solutions for DOOH campaigns using the Vistar Media platform. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration and execution of dynamic creatives that captivate audiences.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop Dynamic Creatives: Build and configure dynamic templates using HTML5, vanilla CSS, and JavaScript focused on DOM manipulation.

  • Dynamic Content Integration: Implement and manage real-time data feeds (weather, location, time triggers) for dynamic creative campaigns.

  • API Testing & Troubleshooting: Use tools like Postman to test and troubleshoot API integrations connected to dynamic ad elements.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with designers, product teams, and account managers to translate creative concepts into technical implementations. In addition, collaborate with our partners on implementation and troubleshooting of our dynamic templates.

  • Creative Optimization: Ensure performance, responsiveness, and cross-platform consistency of creatives, optimizing for various device specifications.

  • Technical QA: Utilize browser console tools to debug creative builds and perform rigorous pre-launch testing.

  • Version Control: Collaborate via Git and GitHub Pull Requests for source control and peer-reviewed code quality.

  • Creative Tooling: Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and other major design programs to transform and refine creative design drafts and wireframes into fully functional HTML creatives. 

What Experience We’re Looking For:

  • Front-End Web Skills: Proficiency in front end technologies: HTML structure/hierarchy concepts, CSS, and JavaScript with a focus on DOM manipulation.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Hands-on experience with browser console tools and debugging practices.

  • API Familiarity: Experience testing and troubleshooting APIs (Postman or similar tool experience is a plus).

  • Version Control: Comfort with Git workflows, including pull requests and merge management.

  • Creative Software Proficiency: Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and other leading design platforms.

  • Design Foundations: Understanding of layout, typography, responsive design, and visual storytelling principles.

  • Ad Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with dynamic creative optimization (DCO) concepts, and experience with advertising technology platforms (e.g., Google,  ) is a strong plus.

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot creative builds and propose quick, effective solutions.

  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
