Surf Studio is KBC's technology innovation hub. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a Full stack Developer to join the team!

Surf Studio Lab works on 2 levels: 
•    Learn & Explore: research, learn, tryout via prototyping; short bursts of exploring a new technology and translate this into a specific case. 
•    Experiment: apply the knowledge from the Learn & Explore phase into an experiment.

Job Description

As our Frontend developer, you would have the following responsibilities: 

• Comprehending/creating the functional design based on the functional specifications; 
• Creating  and executing tests cases; 
• Drawing up the program structure based on the (your) technical design; 
• Designing related changes to be updated in the design document (including diagrams);
• Conducting self & peer code review; 
• Creating working prototypes based on the (your) technical design
• Resolving incidents and defects and track to closure; 
• Executing technical integration testing of the application in relation with other applications that interface with the tested applications.

Key competences that will help you succeed:

• Proficiency  in Angular, Typescript, Javascript, NodeJs 
• Understanding and implementing secure frontend principles: JWT, XSRF, CORS, OWASP
• Understanding of RESTful API, JSON, HTTP;
• Good understanding of GIT

• Cross platform development: React Native, (Flutter, NativeScript)

• Knowledge of the KBC frameworks is a big plus ! (Pallas, AGF, Maya)
