Senior Frontend Developer (Vue.js)

As a Senior Frontend Developer at Burai, you will architect and implement intuitive user interfaces that make our platform accessible and efficient for users worldwide.

It integrates seamlessly with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, and various third-party integrations, offering a centralized, user-friendly interface where users can organize, prioritize, and collaborate on all project-related activities. Whether you're leading a complex project or managing day-to-day tasks, Burai streamlines the process, ensuring efficiency and clarity across all stages of your work, decluttering your work environment and reducing the need for context switching when using different tools and channels of communication. 

In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining scalable frontend applications using Vue.js. You'll work on creating responsive interfaces, implementing real-time updates, and ensuring smooth user experiences across all platform features. 

Collaborating closely with our backend team, product designers, and product managers, you'll help ensure our frontend architecture can scale while maintaining excellent performance and usability. This role is based in our Varaždin or Zagreb (Croatia) office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. 

As a Senior Frontend Developer (Vue.js), you will: 

• Collaborate in a team of 5-10 highly motivated individuals 

• Work on solving challenging frontend architecture and implementation problems 

• Have a voice that will impact technical decisions 

• Communicate with backend team members and product managers to minimize misunderstandings 

• Write maintainable code, respecting industry standards 

• Create comprehensive documentation 

• Perform code reviews 

• Support less experienced developers 

About You: 

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development 

• Proactive, ambitious, organized, curious 

• Strong proficiency with Vue.js and its ecosystem 

• Proven ability to translate designs into precise, responsive implementations 

• Demonstrated experience with state management solutions (Pinia) 

• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization 

• Experience with real-time data updates and WebSocket implementations 

• Proven experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest) 

• Experience with modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines 

• Strong understanding of component architecture and design systems 

• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility 

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices 

• Experience with version control systems (Git) 

• Knowledge of Google add-on and MS Office add-in development is a plus
