Your Role and Impact

• Shape Technical Vision: Define the long-term technical direction of our frontend landscape and make strategic architectural decisions in collaboration with leadership.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Coach and guide senior engineers, acting as a role model for one or more teams.
• Ownership and Initiative: Take responsibility for the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) – from conception to API integration, testing, and successful software deployment.
• Drive Technological Innovation: Proactively propose and implement technical improvements and new features.
• Close Collaboration with Product: Work alongside Product Owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Outcome-Focused: Prioritize effectively and consistently aim for impactful results that deliver real value to the product.
• Continuous Improvement: Spot areas for enhancement in existing applications, minimize technical debt, and ensure high-quality standards.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Several years of professional experience (ideally 7+ years) in frontend development, particularly with Flutter (Dart) and TypeScript. Familiarity with FlutterFlow and Angular is a plus.
• Strong understanding of APIs, software architecture, and testing strategies (unit, integration, possibly end-to-end). Experience with Firebase is a bonus.
• In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle, including deployment processes and agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain complex applications from concept to release.
• Experience leading projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience architecting and designing complex solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the capability to motivate and mentor senior engineers.
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus), enabling you to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
• Passion for continuous improvement and clean, maintainable code.
